Cooking with Mama Rosa

Once a month 7Numbers Eglinton opens its doors for a Big Night style celebration with our very own Rosa Marinuzzi. A little less formal instruction and a lot more fun, with wine and food, and more wine and more food, and yet more wine and more food, our cooking class is a great way to spend an evening learning about Rosa's passionate approach from market to table.

We try to keep the class between 16-30 people so everyone gets a chance to whoop it up in the kitchen with Rosie. Class starts promptly at 7pm, so get there around 6:30, get your coat off and grab a glass of wine - it might be a good idea to leave your shyness at home as well! And yes, you can book a Cooking Class as a Private Event for your friends, family, and co-workers.

Time: First glass of wine at 6:30pm
Class starts promptly at 7pm!
Cost: $85 plus HST and gratuity per person (Pssst! Cash price $90/person all in, cash only!)
The fine print: We ask that you reserve your space by calling in with a credit card number. The card is not charged immediately, but in the event of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours notice), it is charged 50% of the class price and held as credit towards a later date.

What's Cooking

The menu follows our Family Style Menu fairly closely with 2 notable differences;

First, that instead of fried calamari we usually do something else yummy and fried - artichokes, ricotta fritters, spicy cauliflower etc. and because of this we replace the fried calamari with grilled calamari.

Second, instead of each person choosing an individual main from our Secondi list, we bring a whole bunch of them to the table on platters so everyone gets to taste them all! It's not the whole Secondi list, but we do hit the highlights like the Pesce, Eggplant Palmugiane, Sexy Duck, Meatballs and Lamb Shank. (If there's any left over we pack it up to go, but it's first-grab, first-get.)
